Ferran Aicart

Engineer & Project Management

Ferran Aicart Curco has been Project Engineer in Sunco since 2009.

Ferran has led the engineering and project management for the San Pedro PV power plant project (Honduras) 22 MWp, and many of Sunco’s off-grid and distributed generation projects:

- Solar systems project for houses without access to electricity (Honduras) 750 systems
- Honda self-consumption solar roof project (Indonesia) 105 kWp
- Nimac self-consumption solar project (Nicaragua) 100 kWp 
 - Alibus solar roof project (Spain) 100 kWp 
 - Cubiali solar roof project (Spain) 100 kWp

Ferran holds a degree in Industrial Technical Engineering, specialising in Electricity, from the Escola Universitària Salesiana de Sarrià (centre affiliated with the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

Tony Artiga

Chief Executive Officer

9 years of experience in the energy sector.

Member of the Mergers & Acquisitions 
team at the Royal Bank of Scotland in London, dedicated to Power & Utilities. Participated in transactions in the renewables, O&G, and distribution sectors with a total value of over $6.0B, and infrastructure sector transactions with a total value of $2.0B.

Prior to assuming the position of CEO, he held the position of Director of Structured Finance at Sunco for 4 years, generating sources of funding for distributed generation projects in Central America and Asia. Responsible for business development in Southeast Asia, obtaining the award of 2 of the first 5 solar projects with a PPA in Indonesia, and the first corporate PPA for solar energy in the country.

Nicolas Brion

Director of procurement

6 years of experience in procurement and 4 in renewable energy.

US C&I Procurement Manager with SunEdison (2015-2016) in San Francisco in charge of EPC contracting for solar distributed generation in the US. Led a process of selection, qualification and negotiation with over 50 EPCs for a portfolio of 500MW of projects (ground, rooftop, canopy) in 7 states.

Procurement Manager with SunEdison (2013-2015). In charge of selecting and contracting material, subcontractors and services for the construction of 450MW in UK, 25MW in Jordan and support of 200MW in Chile.

Consultant in American Express (2011- 2013) in Paris.

José Delgado García

Director of Project Development

10 years of international experience in developing renewable energy projects totaling 450MW solar and 300MW wind power in companies such as Nervus, Conergy and Gamesa.

Experience in the construction of solar and wind power plants and in the operation of more than 1 GW of wind farms.

Participation in the bidding processes for solar power in Chile, Egypt and Jordan and extensive experience in negotiating power purchase agreements (PPAs) with both private entities and electricity companies.

EMEA & LATAM Director of Design & Engineering for SunEdison (2010-2015) in Madrid. Led the design and engineering for 1 GW of projects now under operation in countries such as Italy, Bulgaria, Chile, Uruguay, Honduras, UK, South Africa, etc,

VP Global Director of Design & Engineering (2015-2016) in San Francisco and Madrid. Led the Development of an Innovations Program to lower costs, blocks of Engineering Standards, Grid Integration and Design Automation.

Bernat de Miguel

Project Development Associate

4 years in various positions at Sunco, including Jr. Operations Engineer, Business Development Analyst, and currently Project Development Associate.

Within Sunco has carried out numerous tasks analyzing markets in Latin America, Africa and Southeast Asia. Has also participated in establishing bid values, resulting in the award of a bidding round for $8M for Rural Electrification in Nigeria. Currently undertakes project analysis as well as studies of local permitting in more than 10 countries.

3 years at SunEdison as Manger of Structured Finance. Lead the first Project Financing of US$68M for a large-scale project developed by SunEdison in the Middle East (24 MW, Jordan) and arranged its subsequent sale to a Dubai investment fund. Participated in the origination of the acquisition of wind power assets from Renova Energía Brasil (99.2 MW, US$141M).

José Pérez Francés

Managing Director

José has over 7 years of Experience in the Renewable Energy Sector, developing more than 2.5 GW of renewable energy assets globally and managed a global portfolio of 8 GW of solar and wind assets.

José was President of Global Asset Management at SunEdison/Terraform (3/15 – 12/15). During such time, José led the efforts towards creating a global asset management team for Terraform Power and Global and led the onboarding of more than 4 GW of assets in less than 12 months. Prior to that, he was President EMEA/LatAm (12/13 – 3/15), driving growth aggressively in MW built and pipeline by more than 300%.

Before joining SunEdision José served in several senior finance positions in EMI Music and NBC Universal at regional and global level.

Oscar Ribas

Chief Operating Officer

Oscar Ribas Perez, Chief Operating Officer at Sunco since 2010.

Oscar has experience in the:
 - Development, construction and O&M of 223 MWp in photovoltaic plants in Spain, Honduras, Indonesia, Italy, Rwanda, Nigeria and India.
- Design and development of 15 MWp in biomass plants in Spain and Indonesia.
- Design and development of 15 MWp in wind energy in Spain.

Before joining Sunco’s team, Oscar worked for FERSA as a Solar and Biomass Project Director:
- Design and development of +180 MWp in solar, biomass and wind energy projects.

He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering (UPC) and an MBA (ESADE).

Iñigo has over 11 years of experience in the renewable energy industry.

4 years as an investment analyst, responsible for the sector at Credit-Suisse Fund & SIVAC Management in Spain, where he was a member of the Investment Committee.

5 years at Iberdrola Renovables as risk analyst focused on the projects developed by the company in EMEA and LatAm.

2 years in the commercial and strategy team at SunEdison for Latin America, actively participating in the execution of private PPAs (CAP and AMSA) as well as in 350 MW of solar project PPAs with Chilean Distribution companies.

He has actively participated in the evaluation, development, construction and commercialization of a total of 990 MW wind and solar projects .

Iker San Sebastián

part in the development, construction and start-up of 300 MW in Spain and Italy, responsible for the completion of the largest PV plant in the world at its time (72 MW).

Utility Operations Director for US at SunEdison (2011-2013). Led the development, construction and start-up of 300 MW in US and Canada.

Utility Operations Director for EMEA at SunEdison (2013- 2016), leading the development, construction and start-up of 450 MW in UK, providing support for the completion of 200 MW in LATAM, responsible for the completion of a 100 MW PV plant in Chile (the largest private PPA and one of the 10 largest plants of the PV industry).

Global Technical Director for SunEdison O&M (2016), leading the maintenance and technical advisory teams providing technical support to TerraForm Power (TERP) and TerraForm Global (GLBL).

Founding partner of Prax Capital, a Private Equity firm based in China with US$800M capital raised and invested in 4 Growth Capital funds and 3 Real Estate funds.

At Prax Capital led the firm’s financial, legal and fiscal relations, in addition to being responsible for investment structures, valuations, contract negotiations, risk management, due diligence and portfolio management.

20 years experience in management and business administration in the USA in distribution and retail, and 4 years experience as an auditor (Certified Public Accountant) with KPMG in Miami.

Investments in sector companies: Suntech, (world's largest manufacturer of PV modules at that time), China Sunergy (manufacturer of PV modules), HT Blade, JYT, and Fundant.
